The men’s seconds team has no official captain but prefers to utilise a rolling captaincy for its matches so as to develop and give a chance for many members to gain captaincy experience. The men’s seconds team participates in 2A of the northern conference of BUCS matches. LUFC invests in a seconds men’s team to give opportunities for new members to gain match experience as well as to train potential first team candidates where there is less competition pressure.
